Why 3 phase 440volt Instead 660volt?

As you know, the frequency of AC current is 50 Hz,  means that this current comes 50 times in 1 second and goes away. We cannot see this current and need a frequency meter to measure the frequency of this.

So Friends, as you can see, our electricity flows on the screen in this way up and down conditionAs you can see, the Friends R PHASE is flowing from its place, with the center from which the second  B phase is flowing above the center, 

the face difference of both of these will be 440, as you can see.Now the third Y PHASE is coming from the bottom of the friend which is our two phase, coming from plus. In this wave fome, always 1 phase will always come down. None of the R,Y,B will always PHASE up to 50 below Hz. It means that your phase is only in your two phases, one phase is always yours. MAINES  –

This means that ever your red wire will be in the minus, there will be ever a blue wire, that means it changes 50 times in 1 second, so we call it 50 hz Friends 440 in 3 phase so that they always say in a face together It does not have current so we measure the same voltage of two faces and 440 VOLTS are called it and not 660 volt.So in this way our electricity flows up and down in the condition of 50 Hz.

3 phase suply has three wire(R,Y,B), now the voltage across any one phase and neutral is 230v, and we say 3 phase is 440v because we check the voltage between any two phase(RY,YB,BR)
In india we have 240V single phase system and 415V (1.732 * 240) three phase system Basically saying that the 3 phase supply will replicate the 1 phase supply 3 times is a false taken.
the 1 phase supply is between 1 line- & Neutral.
the 3 phase supply we obtain is not like measured between 3 lines-Neutral (like (R-N = 220) + (Y-N = 220) + (B-N = 220) = 660 IS WRONG).
Rather the supply we get in 3 phase is measured between either of the two Lines wise ( R-Y or Y-B or B-R) & at a time one isn’t in action.So calculating the voltage between 2 lines is like adding the two voltage source, but the point to make note is they all are 120 phase shifted to each other (i.e. either lead or lag by 120 degrees in a Sine wave corrsponding to them).

Now if you connect any two of the 3 lines it will behave just like the 1-phase supply only. It will Run to give you output but with loaded configuration & it will go on heating the windings finally burning your appliance to fumes.
Now in 3-phase we have voltages added of the 2 line i.e. R=230 +Y=230(120 shifted)
So total voltage = 230 + 230 (+-120 degree)
